JHCM summer camps are coveted for good reason. Led by expert educators in art and science-based programming, our camps combine innovative engineering challenges, imaginative play, woodworking tools, and more. Each day sparks creativity, builds confidence, and creates memories that last a lifetime.

Program Dates: June 15th-August 24th (weekly camps with breaks July 6-10 & August 3-7)

Early Registration: Jan 26-Feb 6

Lottery Window: Jan 30-Feb 6

Results Announced: Monday Feb 9th

Acceptance Deadline: Friday Feb 13th

Scholarships: Spots reserved for Youth Enrichment Scholarship (Y.E.S.) program participants via One22. Families apply directly through One22 for camp scholarships.

EARLY REGISTRATION

  • As of 2/3 the only early registrations spots available are: All Girls STEAM 2-5 & Upcycled Wonders 2-5. Please email info@jhcm with any questions

Early Registration is $100 per family. This gives you early access to register for up to 2 spots in your preferred course. Early Registration spots are capped at 40% of courses. If we are unable to place you in your preferred course, you will not pay and will be automatically entered into the lottery.

June 15- June 18: The Magic Suitcase

Embark on an exciting global adventure this summer at our All Around the World camp! Each day, campers will "travel" to a different countries, exploring unique cultures, traditions, and fun activities from every corner of the globe. Campers will experience the sights, sounds, and flavors of faraway places—all without leaving camp!

June 29-July 2: Crafty Creatures

A camp for any small human critters that love art and animals. Learn about the science behind animal adaptations, make animal costumes, build animal habitats, and use real naturalist skills to find animals in the wild! This four day camp is perfect for the curious, creative animal lover entering kindergarten through second grade!

July 13-July 17: Spellbound Science

Welcome to JHCM’s world of wonder! Inviting all unicorns, dragons, wizards, witches, and fairies for a playful exploration of science, art, and our imaginations. Campers will build imaginary worlds, create fantastic art, and play with science that seems like magic. Campers will have plenty of time to play pretend, wear costumes, read stories, and make new friends!

July 27-July 30: Spy Club

Spend the week creating a unique spy persona and using classic JHCM tinker skills to solve playful, top-secret missions! Our spies will explore gadget construction, imagination-fueled problem solving, and plenty of hands-on maker time as they work together to crack clues and complete creative challenges.

August 10-August 13: All Girls STEAM

Spend the week experimenting, testing, building and creating as a team of young female scientists!  We’ll spend the week engaging in all aspects of S.T.E.A.M - including chemistry, physics, art and engineering! In this four day camp, S.T.E.A.M campers  entering Kindergarten through second grade will discover new science skills and get to make and craft all week long!

August 24-August 27: Tinker Tales

Each day begins with a story—think curious characters, problem-solving adventures, and magical worlds—followed by open-ended STEAM challenges. Campers might build a bridge to help a character cross a river, design a home for a storybook creature, or invent a tool to solve a tale’s big problem. Using recycled materials, simple tools, art supplies, and lots of creativity, kids will learn that there’s no one “right” way to create.

June 22-June 26: All Girls STEAM

We’ll spend the week experimenting, testing, building and creating as a team of young female scientists!  Engage in all aspects of S.T.E.A.M - including chemistry, physics, art and engineering! In this five-day camp, S.T.E.A.M campers entering third-fifth grade will discover new science skills and get to make and craft all week long!

July 20-July 24: Upcycled Wonders

Turn trash into treasure at Upcycled Wonders camp, where creativity meets sustainability and engineering! Campers will use recycled and everyday materials to create art, invent solutions, and design and build their own arcade games. This week encourages critical thinking, creativity, and environmental awareness—proving that innovation doesn’t require brand-new materials.

August 17-August 21: Spellbound Science

Explore the science behind swirling potions, disappearing ink, wand crafting, magical pets, and more! Use your creativity to decorate your own spellbooks and magic hats to match your unique and enchanting personality. Throughout the week you will add to your spellbooks with spellbound science to try at home. Join us for an amazing week of spellbound science!

Pre-Program Letter: Families receive a welcome letter with participation forms before camp starts.

Cancellation Policy: A $100 non-refundable deposit per camp week is required and applied toward tuition. The remaining balance is refundable up to one week before the start of camp.
