WAYS TO GET INVOLVED

Thanks for considering volunteering with us at the museum! Help from volunteers allows us to continue to move toward a vibrant community space for Jackson families and visitors.

Museum Docent (Play Engineer): Engage visitors and help create playful learning experiences on the floor.

Administrative Volunteer: Support daily operations and help keep the Museum running smoothly.

Education Team Support: Assist our educators during workshops and activities.

Community Outreach Support: Represent JHCM at community events and school partnerships.

Event Volunteer: Help with special events like Touch-a-Truck, holiday celebrations, and more.

VOLUNTEER FAQS

  • Anyone with a passion to help and a willingness to learn is welcome! No prior experience required, but individuals under the age of 18 will require a parent consent form.

  • Application coming soon

  • Tasks vary depending on the event or program, but may include setup, greeting guests, assisting staff, or cleanup.

  • Absolutely! Just make sure each person signs up individually.

  • Yes, all volunteers will receive a handbook and go through an orientation.
