Spring Crafts
This Spring Break, our education team and group of volunteers helped facilitate some fun Spring Crafts in our Idea Box. These crafts can easily be done at home with a few materials! See the examples below!
At the museum we try to emphasize upcycling materials to local kiddos and encourage them to find new ways to use items. We encourage those crafting at home to do the same! Look around the house for inspiration—kids routinely use corks, old boxes, caps, and plastic bottles to make artwork and build! We are excited to have received a Sustainability Grant to continue this work. Stay tuned to see how we use this grant for gathering more recycled materials around the community for our programs in the future.
