BotM: Coat of Many Colors
Coat of Many Colors is a heartwarming story based on Dolly Parton’s famous song about her childhood. In this bilingual book, little Dolly’s mom makes her a special coat out of lots of colorful fabric pieces. Even though the coat is made from scraps, Dolly loves it because it was sewn with love. When other kids make fun of her, Dolly learns to be proud of who she is and what she has. This story teaches that love is more important than money and that the things made with care are the most precious of all.
