Holiday Joy and a New Beginning at the Jackson Hole Children’s Museum

Updated: Jan 7

The Jackson Hole Children’s Museum sparkled with holiday cheer as we celebrated the grand opening of Phase 1 of our forever home during five festive events on December 21st and 22nd. Over 100 guests—children, parents, grandparents, and community members—joined us to mark this milestone with creativity, science, and art. Kids brought the space to life, climbing our stunning new Tree Fort crafted by local artists Michael Parris and Ben Roth, crafting kinetic sand, and donning giant googly eyes. Adults found joy in etching recycled glassware and tackling playful engineering challenges in a vibrant, one-of-a-kind social setting.

This event marked not just a holiday celebration, but the beginning of a bright new chapter for our museum. As we continue construction of the full museum and exhibits over the coming year, we invite our community to help us bring Phase 2 and Phase 3 to life. Together, we can create a space that inspires generations of young minds. We can’t wait to celebrate more milestones with you along the way! Thank you for making this event so special and for being part of our journey.
