Camps run Monday through Thursday from 9 AM to 4 PM. Drop off is between 8:30-9 AM; pick-up is at 4 PM.
Imagination Detectives (Incoming K-1):
Inviting all pirates, princesses, wizards, warriors, and fairies to join us for a playful exploration of our imaginations. Children will have the chance to make their imaginations come alive through free and guided play with our talented teachers. Children will create costumes, masks, magical creatures, go on scavenger hunts, sing songs, read stories and play games throughout this busy week of fun!
The Workshop (Incoming Gr. 2-4):
Break it, make it, take it (home)! Inviting all inventors, creators and makers to the Jackson Hole Children’s Museum for a week of building and making with exciting materials, guided design challenges and free build opportunities. Design inspiration will come from nature, engineers, YouTube DIY projects and our own imaginations. Kids will also have plenty of time to participate in fun games and play in our indoor and outdoor exhibits.
Tinker Tots (Incoming K-1):
During this creative camp week, your tots will get to tinker with all kinds of materials to make creations from their imagination. What better way to prepare for Kindergarten and first grade than to enhance fine motor skills through cutting, gluing and piecing together their own toys, sculptures and inventions? Kids will also have plenty of time to play games, read stories and play in and out of the Jackson Hole Children’s Museum.
The Laboratory (Incoming Gr. 2-4):
If you like to ask questions, make observations and most importantly conduct experiments, then this is the camp for you! With each day focusing on a different field of science, we will explore engineering concepts, build mini-robots, discover the wonders of our natural environment and of course, experiment with one of our favorite chemical reactions—slime! Kids will also have plenty of time to participate in fun games and play in our indoor and outdoor exhibits.
Silly Science (Incoming K-1):
Children are natural scientists. They are keen observers of the small things, they ask tons of questions and they are making new connections about their world every day. During this week at JHCM, children will explore all of their senses doing silly science experiments ranging from making slime to observing insects, making towers to exploding volcanoes! Kids will also have plenty of time to play games, read stories and play in and out of the Jackson Hole Children’s Museum.
