LEGO LEAGUE

First Lego League Summer Training

Presented by Teton Tutors and Jackson Hole Children's Museum

Teton Tutors and Jackson Hole Children's Museum have teamed up to help you train for Wyoming's First Lego League Robotics competition. Whether you are planning on competing on a public school team, a private team, or simply want to learn to use coding to make your Legos come alive, this is the camp for you. Children will learn the basics of coding, problem solving, and engineering while being guided through a series of challenges using the Lego Mindstorm EV3No supplies or experience needed.

Instructor

Garrett Austen is the founder of Teton Tutors, a local tutoring, afterschool club, and summer camp program offering programs for students interested in activities beyond what has traditionally been offered in Jackson Hole. Their programs focus on technology and gaming as a way to learn, in addition to offering peer-to-peer clubs which inspire local hobbyists to connect with students. Garrett has taught high school in five different countries, taught elementary and technology at Journeys School for four years, and is currently working as a freelance educator in Jackson.
